What other droids would the Legion allow?

As long as its a costume, and not a prop or puppet, and its canon, and its a good guy you are good to go.

The trouble with droids is that a lot of them are puppets (EV-99 and 8D8), CGI (Pit Droids), or Bad Guys (4-LOM).

What did you have in mind?

Oh come on..... 4-LOM wasn't that bad! Razz

In the EU, he and Zuckuss did save a bunch of wounded rebels. They were just mercenaries for hire- it wasn't personal, it was just business!

So, what if someone wanted to do a six foot tall GONK droid? Mr. Green

Actually, I've see where someone made a normal sized Gonk droid that they could bend over and fit in. So there has been at least on Gonk costume on the Internet.

Are you sure that wasn't the six-foot tall, three-foot wide and four-foot deep GONK that was made out of plywood?

Never again, will that GONK see the light of day!

We have a gonk droid here in Central Base. He spends hours at a time hunched over inside it. I'd hate to see his chiropractor bill. Shocked

I think the deathstar style droid we see in the sandcrawler in ANH could work. (Being in the Sand Crawler does not make it a "Bad Guy". Lets not forget other colored protical droids (The one on the blockade runner in ANH and the one in Bespin when 3PO gets capped) Also maybe the "clown" droid, if someone could get in it, although I think each time we saw that droid it was slumped in the sand crawler or jabbas palace... maybe it's just a prop.

If a little person (like Kenny Baker) can get in an R2 unit and operate it, does that R2 become a "costume"??

The last post mentioned some of the ideas for this forum; the Death Star Droid, other color scheme 3POs, even the Luxary Droid is a possiblility.
