I'm tying to nail down the details of the holster for an RFT costume. Not quite sure which I want to do as both seems to be visually accurate. Or at least to my eye. I really can't see much detail viewing the movie or viewing screen caps.
So want do you think?

From what I see, it's more like the bottom of 1 and the top of 2. And that's how I made the one for my Nerf blaster before C4.

But it's really hard to tell if it's two small belt loops or one large one. I went with the large one so I wouldn't have to worry about rivet failures or screw post loosenings.

I would go with whatever Lori advises...
she not only has a great eye for detail...
she also knows leather...

I have seen the holsters both ways...

Check with other RFT's in your area too....and try to match what they have...
in all likelyhood...they will be the people you will troop with...

And...
at CV.....if in fact there is a CV...lol...

you will probably see a WIDE range of holsters...

Very Happy

I make mine like #1.

2 separate belt loops hang better IMHO. Pluse that is how the SideShow holster. It would figure that they would have access to more LFL stuff than us AND thats the way the Imperial E-11 and I suspect DH-17 holsters are.

Thanks everyone. Very nice work guys. I think I'm going with version 1. I should have it knocked out this weekend.

Only during my scheduled time between 1 and 6am. Only thing that stopped me from doing this during the week was the shortage of dye.
