Matt at mpfilmcraft is after another 4 pre-orders for the Han Solo belt buckles and associated hardware so he can put an order in...drop him a line if you're interested.

I sent him an email, I think last week...possibly even the week before, and I hadn't heard back.

Might be worth dropping him a line and double-checking.

Here's a pic from Matt of the stuff he's offering:

He says:

"Solo buckles are laser cut out of stainless steel. The edges and finish is pretty smooth but may need some clean up and sanding or polishing if desired. The attachments can be welded on or you can use a strong epoxy like J&B cold weld. I use 3/8th" key post screws for clip attachment and small nickel domed or flat rivets for belt clip attachments that can be found at Tandy.

Price is $60 a set plus $8 S&H (if in US) Total = $68.00 USD

I will need to place an order once I get a few sets pre ordered. Turn around is about 2-3 weeks. Please include style you want when you order. "

If you're making your blaster rig (like me) I reckon you need these... Very Happy

Hello:
I have joined this board in order to get a set of these buckles I want the ANH set,I will have the funds available on the 25th.I want to get a Shansei Mauser pistol(Yes a real pistol)and this will be my gun belt.
I can't say I am the most ardent Star wars fan(as my name indicates)I would hasten to point out I love Sci Fi art as well as assault weapons, blade weapons and kit bashing.
I want to make a Tusken Raider mercenary whose head wrap is black leather. I have got to make cooler eye things, and as is normally the case I only want metal face bits.
Here is my art, please forgive the "Trekness" of it:http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/8767338

Hey all, i recently spoke to Matt via email a couple weeks ago. He is currently making my holster. When I spoke to him, he was in the process of moving home and shop, so he was a bit delayed. I don't know if his computer is and running at the new place or what, but that may account for why he has not returned your email. Anyhoo, I suppose you can keep trying to get ahold of him.

Is there any instructions on how to put the leather parts together? Would love to have a set, but the leather work scares me a little.

Take your buckels to your local Tandy leather and have them help yah. Most leather stores like Tandy have workshops set up on scheduled days to help you learn the trade. If you bring in the buckels your sure get get help there.

My local Tandy actually has a guy who comes in on Saturdays and teaches holster making.... I am sure there is s similar thing in your area.

Just give them a call....
