I made a couple of the ribbed tops for the Endor Trooper helmet because I think there are a couple of people here who have the AN-H-15 but not the top piece.

These were done to the Studio Creations DH2 standards with ribs 3/8" apart and tapering from the center to the ends.

I'm asking $25 each, which includes shipping and PayPal fees.

Hopefully by next month I will be able to offer complete Endor soft helmets with ear cups, snaps, and chin strap. I'm just waiting on revisions to the ear cups. I also hope to have a few of the vests for sale as well.

I always thought that in the screen grabs they looked more like folds rather than traditional ribs, but I would possibly be interested in one of these. Need to get around to setting up a PayPal for myself though. lol

I've looked at the pics a long time and while it does look pleated I can't figure how they make the pleats lay flat. With the curve over the head the pleats would stand up more. If they sewed the pleats down then you're talking a LOT of time to make one top.

I can do a pleated top but it will cost twice as much due to additional fabric and time to sew it. Pleats are a pain in the butt. Sad

I will be glued to this forum for updates on your progress Donna. I would be interested in any Endor Parts you can make. I will have to start saving some cash. I started collecting parts a couple years ago and only have a helmet Donut kit and some gaiters. Its a start. The Helmet always seems to be the toughest to get done usually with costumes so I am starting there. I did get your Pattern, for the vest, but I do not really have anyone to make it here. We have one good costume maker here in Town and there is a lot of projects being worked on, so she is spread pretty thin at times. I am working on Han Costumes, but I am itching for something new and different and want to join RAID, plus Endor Commandos Rock.

Will the soft helmet include the Ribbed top above, or should I buy that from you now? Just making sure. You can PM me or Email me if you want.

As soon as I collect all the pieces, I will be making complete Endor soft helmets (helmet, snaps, chin strap, ear cups, and ribbed top). These will be ready-to-wear right out of the box. I will also be making several vests and some gaiters.

I hope to begin offering these by the end of the month. So stay tuned. Smile

If I am still working...
I would interested in one of them..

where I like my original ANH with my current donut...
I gotta admit..it is also a little tight....hard to get my hair underneath the ANH...lol..

I have a second donut...that is in my "project pile"...
and wanted to make one of these myself to go with the second donut..
but....like so very many things...I simply never seem to get around to it...

but...
if I lose my job...
I might actually have time to get stuff done...lol....

I've got the snap pieces done, I'm working on the leather chin straps for you.

Snap pieces and leather straps are finished. They'll be going out to you in the next couple days, Donna.
