Is this an acceptable costume for the RL?

I may also use this costume as my NR Jedi, so either way, its a new costume...

While it's probably acceptable, it's won't be formal. If you're already RL (which you are), then it would be an informal costume.

It also falls under another category, I think Fringe or the other one. The problem is that version of Corsec is shown in a few sources (comics for Hal Horn and some of the rpg books) but for the SW miniatures games it is a "Corellian Pirate".

Some others have done the other version of Corsec. The version worn by Corran and his partner in the one Rogue Squadron comic series. They also did that as a SW miniature and it is called "CorSec" by them.

I believe, from what I have read, that is the Clone Wars and Prequel era CorSec uniform. They ended up changing it after Imperial authority swept through. I like the idea, though.

I have yet to see where the Galactic Civil War era CorSec (the one worn by Corran and Iella in the comics) be an approved RL costume. I wouldn't presume that this one would be either... just yet.

But it does look like a passable "fringe" costume, from my own point of view.

2 or 3 different rpg pictures, a comic picture and a gaming mini for the Hal version. Should be allowed.

Besides, sometimes there's just a costume you have to do. Rules be danged. Not every event the RL does is an uber-canon affair. So go for it!

I agree. But I also think that if the creator of the character gives their nod of approval for the appearance of the costume (as Michael Stackpole did with Ashley's Iella Wessiri CorSec Costume), then I think the Legion can make a concession for allowing the costume into the approved ranks.

I have a Corran Horn CorSec costume... only it is too dark. So, I completely concede that it should not be an approved costume as is.

I do like the look of Hal Horn's attire, though. Like I said, it does very much resembe a fringer's outfit from the Star Wars universe.

All you need are 3 references, preferrably pictures but a text description will do as well.

Submit the 3 references with the application and the Legion Costuming Judge for that category can make it Formal with the LMO's blessing.

I also agree it should go in the Fringe category.

This outfit has always reminded me of a Star Trek: TOS uniform, just with different boots, a jacket and a blaster hehe. maybe I might put one together someday.
