I'll plan to just rivet mine in, a bit easier for us without taps. LoL _________________ Grey Starr - TD-2519... Hollywood Han Solo... |

And we have approval! I've now got a formal legion costume. I still have work to do though. I'll keep updating as I modify my chestbox, add an elbow joint, get a helmet, etc. |

In the meantime, if anyone had advice on where to get a great helmet, please let me know. I'm nervous because I've heard complaints of Richies Armor lately, but I don't want to wear a Rubies![/quote]
Great costume! I have ordered a Helmet from RA. I will let you know how it comes out.
I sent you a pm about your Compad. (I need this item.... needdddd)
Thanks

I got my helmet from RA. My experience was not at all like the negative ones I've seen described on here. |

For those of you familiar with MC's work from the 501st, he's promised me that his next helmet will be a rebel pilot (after I've badgered him enough).
For those of you not familiar with MC, he's a top notch armorer. Mr. Bojangles, maker of the best pilot chest box around, works with MC.
He's got a movie gig he's trying to finalize some armor for, and he's finishing up a Death Star Gunner helmet, but the X-Wing pilot is next on his list. If it's not, I'll be driving up and camping on his lawn until he gets going on it _________________

That would be great if there's another helmet resource for prospective pilots out there. _________________

I know of a couple of guys working on X-Wing helmets. When they have them perfected and are ready (and willing) to do runs, I will let you guys know.
