Chris is a guy who knows how to weather things and make it look natural, instead of someone just slapping some silver paint on high spots or black on recessed parts and calling it weathered.

It takes some artistic ability to do that so you can't tell it was done.

That looks freakin awesome! I hope to hear soon that you will be doing a run of these. I sure wouldn't mind having a set.

Well, there may be a run. It's not of that armor. That was made by someone else and I just painted it. It would be of this, the armor I made:

But anyway, this is a thread about Neil's build. I hope he liked the final product of my painting. I'll be shipping it out to him tomorrow morning.

The armor arrived tonight. I have to say that Chris did a fraktastic job with it. The pics do not do it justice.

This project is well on schedule for completion by NYCC.

And here are the soft parts. The grey is darker then it appears here. The flash is making it look lighter then it really is.

Also that is not the belt that will be used, it was used for shaping reasons only.

Here is the first test fitting. Please excuse the jeans. I just wanted to see how the soft parts, and armor worked together. And I know the RH belt is missing the straps. I only got 1 set in the shipment, the other set is being mailed out.

It looks pretty good Neil, but the armor looks too small for your frame though to me.....but it looks pretty good otherwise...it will work....good job!!!!!

Neil, thanks for posting those pictures. I'm glad to see that the soft parts I made look much better on you than my dress form! Smile Lookin' good, can't wait to see it 100% complete.

Oh well, I guess smallish armor will have to do for the time being. Since it was one of the last pieces of Anakin armor available, I will have to stick with it. If another run is ever done I might see about getting a new set.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
