Has anyone built one of these before?
What dimensions did you use to build it?
How did you come up with the measurements?
What parts were used?
Are there Work in progress or finished product pics?

I would be just as interested in this launcher since the RFT Rebel Vanguard action figure was packaged with one.

Not really the same thing but I made this out of black ABS pipe and an assortment of fittings.
Your best bet is to take your pix to HD/Lowes and start looking for things that look like parts of your launcher. sometimes it may take 2 or 3 fittings and some time(gluing & grinding) to get the desired look.

To come up with the dimensions figure the person is of average hight. I would start with the second pic(AT-ST) measure from your hand (grip) to the back of the shoulder(Launcher rest) with the arm in the same position. you can also measure the Troopers head and count how many heads long it is. It's not exact but it'll be close enuff.

Hope that helps,
Have fun.

I was looking about doing this for my RFT, but at the moment I have something a little... bigger... on my plate.

I definitely think since a long time to build that projectile launcher.
Exactly like you, I was triggered through the Hasbro figure.
In addition to the projectile launcher, I will wear my RFT and my spats of my Endor Commando. Actually, the colour of the pants is different, I will buy new pants in that colour.

So would it be safe to say that for the Rebel Vanguard Trooper, the shirt and spats are gray? I have the figure and they look gray to me. I might put this one together for the hell of it and build on a theme.
