Oh ok. Yeah I didn't want to do the character but I like the way his costume looked. I was thinking about doing something very similar but with a different color scheme. Well for my official picture, I will have to take another one because my badge is around my neck LOL.

Out of curiosity, what aspects of Jolee's costume are you looking to offshoot from/emulate? I looked it over, and what struck me were the boots: very interesting. I imagine you could get a look like that by making some sort of leather spats that would fit over more "regular" jedi boots...

Well, whether you decide to do this one or not, hopefully you'll get some pics of your generic jedi so you can submit them! I've found the timer on my camera and a tripod are my best friends Razz

I like the boots also, but I was thinking about doing the Tunic/Vest and the Gauntlets. I haven't decided what color yet but it's going to be something different. Any suggestions?

What exactly do you mean by something different? Just keep in mind that it does still need to be within the realm of "earth tone"

LOL. Yeah I know, when I mean something different I mean different from what I would normally go with. I like the earth tones, I just want to think outside the box. No pink and purple here. I was thinking maybe and Burgandy with gold trim or dark brown and gold....something in that realm.

That sounds like it would be ok. I would still post pics of your fabric selections, so the LCJ's can take a look before you get to deep, and find out that they won't work.

Ok. That's a good idea...I don't want to get all into it and then it not be accepted.

The best thing to do is just to get some small samples, and post pics of them. I just don't want to see you spend money and time, and then find out that what you picked is outside what will work. Especially since this is your first costume, and as such must be formal.

This is my second. I have a formal one but I'm still working on it. I think I put a picture up but it has my badge showing so I don't use it.

That scheme looks like it would be fine.
