Okay Rebels! There are two parades on the same day in the Omaha area. The date involved is Saturday, Aug 23rd. Here are the details:

Dundee Days parade
Parade Start: 10:30AM
Parade Start Location: Entrance to Memorial Park on Underwood Ave.

This is a fairly short parade, but like in the past remember to drink water and if you have fans in your helmet make sure they work. There is an uphill stretch of parade where there is little to no wind, and it's been a fairly hot day in the past.

Post Parade: Activities at a booth (mostly 501st, but we can hang with them.)

Millard Days Parade

Parade line-up 10:00am

Parade begins 11:00am

Parade Route: Starting at old "L" Street and Millard Avenue, proceeding down Millard Avenue to 136th Street, turning left and ending on 136 Street at the VFW near "Q" Street.

EDIT - Entry for the parade on Sat. Aug. 23 is entry # 107. Location will be in parking lot of Faith Westwood Methodist Church (Oaks Lane/Anne Street corner)- no parking in the area except for the entry so have to park on adjacent streets and walk in. Line up between 10-11 that a.m. Stakes with the # will be on the side of the parking lot with your # on it. Just go to the location. No check in needed.

The registration buttons at the top reflect the options available.

Dundee is much closer to home and the booth is always a blast.

IF I make it out, I'll be at Dundee (for the same reasons as you all since were all neighbors.... Smile )

The R2-Builders will be at a third parade in Bellevue that day. The Arrows to Arrowspace parade. The people running it have already advertised us to be there and gave us a free spot in the parade and a booth afterwords so both Clay's and my droid will be there.

I was hoping we could get one or two of you to join us but with two other venues going on that does not look likely now.

Our parade set up is at 8am and starts at 9am.

Our booth will be at Washington Park a few blocks up from the river.

Good luck with your other Parades! Next year we can do one of yours Smile
