God I'm such a newbie. Very Happy Um sorry to ask this but, what is the donut helmet supposed to protect? I'm just wondering because all of the other helmets protect your skull and such. Is there any specific part of your noggin that this little donut protects?

I always wondered about that, myself. Seems like the most impractical helmet in the movie series.

It would only protect the sides, front and back of your head, and not the top.

I kind of doubt that anyone here understands the "practicality" of the donut design.

lol and since Ewoks are known to drop rocks on your head... its a good thing we sided with them.

Though even TK helmets don't stop those extra lethal space rocks from taking you out.

Maybe the helmet is more of a headset? with special ship to ground communications to tell you where to go so you dont get lost in the woods... or something. with your mic on that wrist communicator so the person back at ship doesnt have to listen to you breath heavy as you trudge through the mud and roots.

Speaking for donuts. Has anyone permanently attached their donut to the soft helmet and how?
