Hi, last night I cut off the extra segment of my glove, and this morning we just took new photos, there they are; I just want to say that it was never my intention to offend any group, including our Legion of course, and I'm really sorry that u had to close my other thread.

Congrats brother, the change worked just fine and lets hope we'll have a positive answer to your admission to the Legion.

Ben

It's a continuous growing process. We all had to go through it.

Try to get the buckles if you can, and you'll be Number 1! Smile

I think you would still need more accurate buckles.

Wink

Still very cool in my opinion. Hope you get approved. And you ain't kidding. Costuming always seems to be an ongoing process of changing, upgrading, seeing something new and wanting to get that. I haven't worn my Jedi in many months...but I just got a new set of Jedi pouches from Ashton....LOL. They have the Jedi crest on them Very Happy

For those whose don´t have a C-3PO around, I basically explained to Ariel that I agreed with Bryan about improving his buckles. Not buying screen accurate, doing them by himself, since he did his own glove. I explained him that the current ones seemed bigger than they should be and they should be T shaped. I posted some photos from the original ones as reference. That´s all.

PS: Don´t ask for them since I am not selling them right now.

the.rebel.agent (Diego Javier Arevalo)
Legion Costume Judge

Hi rebel friends, as far as many of you don't speak spanish, and as far as these two last postings from our dear CO are very relevant, I would gladly translate them to you; here I go...

"Dear judge Diego Arevalo:
I think that there should be an official place to buy any of the parts and pieces for any of the costumes in our Legion, so all of us who don't have enough skill to make them, then have the possibility to buy them, that would help us a lot in our intends to register our costumes at this Legion, cause it's very sad for someone who does his best effort, being rejected constantly.

Therefore it would be very helpful that people like you, who have great skills in all this matters, that could sell more and more of this pieces, for those who can't achieve such level of exactness. I make this suggestion with all due respect, as far as the constant rejection of aspirants, makes more difficult the grow of a Base, situation that is very lamentable cause the RL itself is very limited in member numbers all around the globe, compared with 501st Legion.

Personally I dare to say that a costume can't be evaluated precisely only with some photos, cause seeing a costume in person may give you some hints of things that are not alright. I'm telling this because a personal experience; some months ago my X-wing pilot costume was rejected only because of the photos...I took them again and I was already accepted, so you can check on it on the Pilot's section at the listings.

The thing is that I attended recently an event in San Diego Cal. where I had the chance to meet another rebel pilot, who had bought almost everything for that costume, in contrast with mine, that is almost home made; we compared them with all detail, and the difference at most was only the sizes of some pieces, such as the chest box, but for the rest they were both just fine, and therefore we're both members of this Legion, and anyone said anything bad about mine... At the contrary, they gave me the nickname of "Red Baby" hahaha, just because the small size of some of my costume parts.

So I just hope that there would be more support for new aspirants, and more flexibility for them in the evaluation process.
