Is that a TIE-fighter pilot shell made in fiberglass? It has a very good shape!
The victory symbol on the mohawk was a good idea. I think I'll copy that.

I have an RA helmet that I'm finally about to put together. And while most people who know Star Wars usually think I'm supposed to be Porkins, I've actually always thought his helmet was a little plain. I had a few ideas for a bucket:

1.) A continuation of the Orange and White of the costume itself.
2.) The "Womp Rat". Based on my design for the Squadron patch.

3.) The "Patriot" (or "Evel Knievel Lives").
4.) The "Bumblebee" (for obvious reasons)

5.) The "Arizonan". Based on the Arizona state flag, it also features the City of Phoenix logo above the goggles.
6.) The "Jango Fett". Chrome with blue highlights.

What do you all think?

Dude, you should see the proof for the Womp Rat patch...it's so gonna rock! I'll post it over in the Interest Thread a little later.

Plus, I'll set up a Tauntaun helmet later just for you! Wink

Just as long as you put "Um, Mr. Lucas" somewhere on your helmet in Aurabesh it'll be awesome, Mike Wink

Hi...I'm sorta a noob here (in the process of
putting an X-wing pilot together) and love all the helmet designs!

Mike #2 and #5 are saaa-weet!

...And your designs also answer my question
about helmet design/decal requirements...I'm guessing it's a
use your imagination type deal? Or is it like the TIE pilots where
they have a cannon helmet and a not so cannon helmet?

It can't be too custom, it still needs to look like it belongs in the Star Wars universe.

You can't use any designs recognizable as being from Earth, like a state or country flag, though inspiration from a flag is ok. And no merchandising type symbols, like the Nike "swoop", for example.

Some recognizable decal designs from the movies is desirable.

I have some flame decals on mine, but they are pretty generic.

Mike I almost choked on my iced tea when I scrolled down the page and saw that Taun-taun helmet design! Shocked Laughing

That design gives the "rams horns" of the helmet a whole new meaning.

It is fiberglass -- a Don Post Deluxe Blank originally. Very heavy LOL! I decorated with airbrush and a few stickers -- and an exacto blade! Needed to rough it up a bit! Mr. Green

I realized I hadnt taken the time to throw my helmet up here, so yesterday at an event I had some downtime and figured I'd take a moment to document the awesomeness of my helmet.
