lol...I will paint mine after it's yellow...

My RFT helmet was a gift, but I think it is Studio Creations. Mine is plain white plastic, no painting (Will also just wait for it to be yellow before messing with paint)

A silly question (please bear with me): what's the swoop supposed to be for? I mean, in the "real" RFT life? Wink

The swoop was just so that one didn't look at the helmet and say...

"hey-that is a WWII Navy talker's helmet"....

I was wondering where you got yours, but I guess I already asked you didn't I? Anyway, I'd say I had my kit about 2 weeks after I sent the payment. Maybe 3.

Be aware that Jim (TK560) is also doing some projects for Sunrider right now so that might affect your delivery time. But he is very good at getting things out in a timely fashion.

If it hadn't been for him, we would not have as many RFTs and Endor Troopers as we do now. Jim is AWESOME! woo hoo

I have Jim's TK560 too. He is great to work with. Great price. Great communication.

I just scored an actual WWI Navy Talker helmet. Now, I'm talking to Jim about making me some parts for it to make it a RFT Helmet. Not the normal thin part,s but the 1/4-inch thick swoop, as well as the 1/8-inch think parts. Now that I've read that there is an actual electronics box out there, I'm intrigued. Can someone suggest where I can pick one up at? Finally, I've found a flip-down helmet visor that I'm going to cut to use as a face shield. I've found a way to make the face shield so it can actually flip down if I want it to.

So, if someone can suggest a good place to get fiberglass parts or thick plastic parts that will last for a long time, please let me know. Thanks.
