Hello from Sacramento

Star Wars nerd here. I live in the Sacramento area and currently have a completed Chewie. Don't want to age myself to much, but we'll just say I remember watching A New Hope in the drive-in when I was a kid. I always loved Star Wars and I passed that passion on to my kids. As a family we like to costume in honor of the SW universe. Although we are not a part of an Legion/club, we have some pretty impressive costumes that I think would merit consideration. I think Im ready to take it to the next step and commit my Chewie costume and and a seek membership in the Legion.

I just need to read up on the process.

Hello and welcome! I am not an expert in Chewie costumes, but can help you navigate the submission process. Have you created a build thread in the Chewie section of Fringe? While not necessary, it can help streamline the judging process, and people there who have already passed with their costumes can help with any issues.

Thanks for the recommendation. I did take note that my Chewie is lacking grey hair on the shoulders and legs. I put a post on the Chewie thread on assistance on how to overcome. Once I get that figured out, I will be close to submitting.
