How do you all attach your ejection harness with your flak vest being outside the jacket.

it goes up inside the jacket.
years ago i had a pic of luke getting dressed talking to the medical droid, you could CLEARLy see the e-strap saftey pinned to his coverall. this is not in the film, it was probably during a scene rehearsal.
on Luke you can see that they are barely visible.
I added a second piece of velcro to my E strap and put velcro on my suit at the same level my vest sits at, so it just mounts in the same spot each time.

Yup. Mine is pinned to my flight suit. When I only had X-Wing, mine was velcro'ed to the inside of my vest on the front but pinned to my suit in the back. Now that I do both X-Wing and Snowspeeder, I just pinned it to the suit front and back. Safety pins for the win. It stays there and I just pull if off with the suit, etc. No big deal.
