We spent the afternoon finishing the Jawa's, Ellie fixed her sleeves, we weathered them and plan on submitting them on submitting them on the 501st tonight. Depending on the feedback regarding the fraying on the arms hopefully we can also submit to RL in the next couple of days.
Weathering in Progress
My Jawa Front
My Jawa's Back
My Jawa Boots
My Jawa Hood
Marelda's Jawa Front
Marelda's Jawa Back
Marelda's Boots
Mareldas Hood
Once the weathering was done we left them do dry for a while and then came into take photos of us in them.
We did frey the arms a little more but as we are also trying for dual approval as ANH Jawa's we are trying to be mindful to not over do it.
501st CRL:
Jawa robes in ANH have sandy clay in places and either tiny bit of fray on the sleeves to none at all

Nice! is there any way you can make the face holes a bit smaller? What did you use for the shaping? _________________ Lucy

Marelda used M.J’s patten off the Kryat clan forums including using RJ11 coax for the support so it’s fully adjustable, they can be just tied slightly differently and that seems to be the governing thing on the hole size for the hood. It was 34C (94.3 F) yesterday so they were on and off pretty quickly. We can adjust how we tie off the ties for the future.
I’ll chock that down to practice. _________________ Xerxas Jade

I understand entirely! I look forward to seeing the finished product. Please understand we are not a part of the Krayt Clan and are a separate club from the 501st legion. We do try very hard to make our costume standards line up with theirs but we will guide you here the best we can in order to make sure you are approved here as well! Having new costumes in both groups is very exciting, a wonderful feeling, and the ultimate goal _________________ Lucy
