Detachment sign-up delay (temporary) - Elections "heads

The Legion election process begins tomorrow and will have some effect on the day-to-day running of RAID.

Here are a few Detachment-relevant election announcements:

"Because elections always start on the second Monday of September, they are really late this year (Sep. 14). That also means that the voting week will actually extend into October, ending on Oct. 4. The hand-over will then be the following week.

The freeze on accepting any new members also applies to detachments, so we can't accept any members from September 1 through October 4, once voting is over. We can let potential new members know that they'll be added as soon as the election is over on October 5, though."
