Is there anyone who can (or knows someone who can) make a Chewie mask comparable to the one Tom Spina made for Adam Savage?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7u1CVe9BYE
I've already contacted him and due to licensing agreements for their busts, they can no longer make the masks.
I have a head cast made and can send for proper fit.
Any leads appreciated. _________________ Qui-Gon Joe

Its very hard to match Tom's mask. Mostly because Tom's mask comes directly from original sources. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/The-Wookiee-Workshop-275044445914376/ |

Everyone I've seen that offers Chewie masks does an amazing job with the look, I'm looking for someone who can do all the extra features...
Fitted to me specifically for comfort and to not slide down my face when articulating the jaw.
The (accurately uneven) lip curl,
And the finished inside of the mouth. _________________ Qui-Gon Joe

I'm aware it's expensive, I just don't have the time to do it myself and have the money to send others to do it for me. But if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'd like the best I can get for it. _________________ Qui-Gon Joe

It's extremely difficult to get it right consistently.
Even though I have done if a few times before on myself, I would never offer it as part of a mask sale. You would need the wearers lifecast ideally.
Tom Spina is be far your best option. |

I've already approached him, but due to licensing agreements for their Chewie busts they aren't allowed to do masks...
And I can get a life cast done. CFX (Composite Effects) is in the same city. _________________ Qui-Gon Joe
