Star Wars: Squadrons video game Oct 2020

Looks like it's got the same photorealism we've seen in other recent Star Wars games, which is good for costume research!

From what I'm seeing, they're using the Rogue One orange jumpsuit, as well as Blue Squadron suits and others that can be chosen. We'll have to see which ones are non-customizable and can be accepted into the Legion.

For those who pre-order, will be gifted a New Republic recruit suit, which will be interesting to compare with what we see in the first episode of the Resistance TV show. The helmet looks to be a U-Wing pilot design:

It's going to be interesting to see what this game is all about. I'm not expecting a modern Rogue Squadron game but it would be nice to get something similar.

And I dig the PSVR mod. I might have to do something like that with mine... X-Wing 1

The costumes in that video seem class-based which is similar to the Battlefront infantry games where the costumes have so far been accepted since they are standardized and don't have vast permutations of customization. Really, they look like set flightsuit configurations and are not much different than the existing pilot standards. The main customization you have is a few glove colors and types (OT black leather gauntlets vs Rogue One ivory or charcoal cloth gauntlets).

I love this reference of Wedge Antilles from Squadrons. I have been taking reference screencaps of the pilot NPCs in the briefing room and hangar. No matter what I do they always look a little blurry. I think it has something to do with the colors and the art style of the graphics. Here are links to the different Imgur folders.
