A friend of mine is getting done a Blue squadron flack vest, and I was hesitating if it's correct since it's different from my ANH X-wing costume.

Can you tell me if this is ok, please?

TY!!!!

It doesn't look accurate to me from those photos.

The fabric should be beige, not white. The side buckles are incorrect. The front should be angled off at the bottom corners. I believe the whole vest may be too long.

Here are a couple photos of mine, BTW

I agree with the previous comment. The white color has been approved since it is currently written as an option in the standard, but the actual color is more beige / off-white. The other details are more of an issue since the shape of the vest, including the angles on the front and back, and buckles are incorrect. The Rogue One version has these distinct differences.

WOW!!!!

Thank you!!!!

Per what I see, the side buckles are like the back one, right? This is the only thing to change in the SIDE right?

For the FRONT, what I see is that is missing the cut in both lower corners. The lower part of it is the size of a rib and is made of the same fabric as the whole vest (this guy used kind of white leather?).
What about the ribs? How many there should be? The guy is about 1,75m and since in the CRL says nothing besides should be proportional to the pilot.... makes no sense to me. LOL.

For the BACK how many ribs should there be? The lower corners should be cut as in the front side?

The chestbox is exactly the same as the classic one? Cauz I am making it for him, and I'd hate to give him something not correct.

Thank you guys for all yyour help.

Soon we'll have the first blue squadron in Spain!!!!!
