As far as the fabric goes i think it has a lot to do with the lighting as i have all like hyper white lights in my house.

Also definitely something to do with the camera... I just took a picture the fabrics next to one another and them held the phone next to it and the picture is substantially more white that what they are

That hood looks a little better, but still too small, I'm afraid. The width is good in that photo, but it needs to come down to rest on the shoulders at that width as well.

For the fabric, try taking photos in different lights with the fabric next to a piece of plain white paper for us to use as a colour reference.

Well... The hood is in the trash.

So it is supposed to look like the hood in galaxy of heroes?

Yes, you want it to emulate the shape and style of the hood in Galaxy of Heroes and/or the hood on Darth Revan in KotOR. Jedi/Sith hoods in general tend to be quite voluminous and rest on the shoulders.
