I made my own pattern for OWK

(rough sketch is NOT to scale)

the finished tunic looks like this

the fabric looks like this

(note: this is NOT "crinkle cotton gauze" LOL)*

* "crinkle cotton gauze" was ONLY used for the inner tunic in ep.II; it appears nowhere in epIII

I found the fabric in the bargain bin at 'fabricland' -- it had no tags on it, so unfortunately I have no info on where to get more Sad

apparently this is the closest that anyone has found to the actual screen used fabric....

....but it is notoriously difficult to work with, because of the loose weave, it tends to stretch out unpredictably -- you will need to line each piece of the pattern with a sturdy satin or something, to give it structure, before you assemble the tunic.

So I bought some swatches of this and it only gets like that if you wash it in hot water. I opted against using it for my ROTS v2 tunic. I did choose Gauze Rolling Eyes but its a much better color than the gauze I got from Joaans.
Amazon, Campaign Cotton Gauze.
Until some manufacturer starts making some kind of new fabric (which probably wouldnt be cheap) this may be the best we can do. A friend of mine is getting a sealed deluxe edition of Dressing a Galaxy, which is supposed to have fabric samples in it including the Jedi Tunic Fabric Shocked
I excited to see it in person

I can make the tunics if you're interested.
