And my wife tried on the pants and stilts and actually is considering a wookiee now. Also my 2 year old saw and insisted she try it on also.

Worked on latching the shirt today. Got a lot done on the front of the shirt, and just 2 rows on the back. Figured I would latch up to the armpits on the front and then continue on the back. I thought about latching 1 row at a time completely around, but it's more motivating to see more progress done by latching one side at a time.

So had originally ordered 20 packs of brown, 10 of blonde, and 10 of black hair. Finished the pants and have 6 packs of brown and 2 packs of blonde left. So I ordered another 10 packs of brown and 4 more blonde just to be on the safe side _________________ Aaron Darling

I just realized I never posted the photo of my homemade mannequin before I started latching the hair. I used a couple spare 2x4 boards and screwed them together and buckled them to the high steppers. I made them the same height to my shoulders so I is an accurate representation of what it will look like when I wear it.

Following the build as I start my Chewie. Did the high steppers come with calf bracers or did you make those yourself? _________________ Justin Sonfield

A little progress update. Spent about 6 1/2 hours latching today. Only have about half of the shirt left to latch.

So looking at your build it's amazing. Would love to know what you used to modify the high bucket stilts ....I think being 5'10 and220lbs this may be my safest bet on getting hight ...but definitely would like the support you added. |

I have a pdf that was sent to me with instructions on how to modify them. Basically just added the leg support brace. I can forward it to you if needed _________________ Aaron Darling
