I am looking for boots for my costume , and having some trouble. I need wide calf boots, so I’m struggling to find any. Can anyone tell me if any of these will be approvable?

DREAM PAIRS Women's Atlanta Black Fur Lined Knee High Riding Boots Wide Calf Size 8.5 M US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GAGM316/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_CjWnEbEP2HPZP

Soda Womens Zulu-S Boot,Color:BlackPuB,Size:7 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NK978QC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9vWnEb8JMXKN8

I’m assuming these won’t because of the logo

note: zippers are only allowed on the inseam of the leg -- not on the outside of the leg,
and not on the back of the leg.

- the first pair you posted won't work because they have zippers on both sides of the leg;

- the second pair you posted would be OK;

- the third pair would not be allowed because of the Ralph Lauren logo.

hope this helps. cheers.

Cobalt-60 basically answered it.

with the first pair, you'd need a lot of work to fully cover the outer zipper and hide the inner one at least a bit.

second one is not "thick" leather, but you'd find similar boots on some unnamed jedi during the arena battle on Genosis, Ep. II. If something is in the film, it's okay.

Third pair is less the issue with the logo (this one can be solved even with duct tape), its more that these are fancy wellingtons. Jedi standard is very clear on rubber boots -> no way.

I'd check for some used stuff on the interwebs. I got my leather boots for 50EUR, but seen cheaper.
And remember -> black boots = black belt. brown boots = brown belt.
