Hi everyone, I have another question as I continue to get closer to beginning my wookiee build. I am just under 6'5" naturally so I won't need a lot of help getting to or over the 7'0" mark. I wear a size 14 or 15 shoe depending on the manufacturer. I haven't been able to find any lifts to purchase that will fit my shoe size so it looks as though I'll have to make my own. Here's what I need yall's opinion on. Would a "wedding cake" layered foam board lift work? For example, if I trace my shoe on the foam board and cut it out, then trace the cut out on the foam board. After tracing the 1st cut out, measure coming off various spot on the traced line 1" or so and mark that spot. After measuring multiple spots, connect all the dots you just marked and cut that out. Repeat this process until desired height is reached. So each layer going from bottom of lifts to top would be 1"-2" wider than the layer above it. I can see the vision in my head and convinced myself it will work, giving me the height I need but also providing a wide enough base to keep from breaking an ankle. Just wanted to get the opinions of people who "been there done that." Thanks for any input you guys can share!

Not had much experience with the foam and my concern would be how sturdy it was. I know a fellow Wookiee in the uk tried it but abandoned it for a wooden base with the shoe base supported by 4 lengths of 2x2 struts in a similar style to mine.
