Looks great.
I'd love to do a 3PO too but at 5'11" I'm probably a bit too tall.
Looking forward to seeing more.
Glen. |

He’d be happier if he was a bit more, completed. Great job so far! _________________ " I just don't understand Human behavior?" |

I'm the same height. I've actually been having problems with the legs being too long. I keep making the thighs shorter to bring the costume knee joint up to the same height as my knee. |

That’s interesting. I know someone with a 3d printer so maybe it’s possible after all!
I see that you scaled up 105%, which is what I calculated would be needed for my height. Are you re-printing the thigh pieces at a different scale or physically modifying them after printing?
If I do a 3PO, I was thinking I’d model a basic 3d version of myself, then place the 3PO parts over to see how well they fit. |

I have been reprinting the parts. I cut the knee off at 150mm from the bottom of the model, then printed the knee at 105%. The upper portion I scaled X and Y by 105%, and scaled Z by 90%.
Its weird, people think these files need to be scaled up by 107% to match the original suit, and I'm taller then Anthony Daniels, but I have to make them shorter. Something isn't adding up... |
