Hello there,
I am new here and am just learning to sew. Where is the best place to get started with my Jedi costume?
My concept is inspired by The Daughter, Shaak Ti and
Luminara Unduli.

Thank you all for any help and suggestions.

There are several tutorials, but if you want to mix inspirations, do you have a (rough) sketch with your ideas?

Hi Deborah, this section is for tutorials, do you mind if I move this to the main Jedi section of the forum?

Not only a very rough sketch but upside down...

I am starting to look at fabrics.
How do I resize patterns for much larger people to my frame?

I have been practicing my sewing skills on lesser projects.
My first trip to the fabric store was eye opening, though I have not bought anything for my costume yet.
I have figured out how to hide (most) of the unnatural color in my hair. Pictures forthcoming.

By the way, a good tip is to buy the cheapest fabric you can find and make a moc up with that

Got the sizing all WRONG for my first attempt at the robe.
Using the "comprehensive Jedi pattern"
I am only 5 foot 2.

I want to have a center tabard, for my first practice I used cheap fabric.
I made a self-scrunching obi then attached the tabard.
It does need to be of heavier fabric.
The ones from the movies seem to be faux Leather?
