I made the pattern for the Inner-tunic as-is out of some cheap bedsheets, notes where I needed to change measurements, then applied those changes to the OT as well. With a bit of tailoring on the final work product, it turned out fine. |

This may be the most helpful thread ever! Thank you for those patterns! After some major weight loss, my jedi is starting to look frumpy. I have my own drafted pattern but I'm going to use some of the cuts and lines from these to help it out.
THANK YOU!! _________________ Lucy

Quick question: the obi in the pattern says to cut 2, but I'm not sure why. Is it to double-up the fabric?
The referenced tutorial seems to indicate that it's sewn inside out and then flipped. Is that why? |

I cut one when making an obi. One long rectangle, double width of final obi (plus seam allowance). Sew the long side, move seam to the middle, sew one end closed, press seams, flip whole thing inside out so the right side of the fabric is now on the outside. Then close final end. And of course, add whatever closure you like to use. I prefer hooks and eyes. _________________
