Has anyone done the "Smuggler" Han from Battlefront 2 (the one with the beard)? Looks like it's basically ROTJ Han, with slightly longer hair and a beard. Might be my chance to pull off a decent Solo. :-) |

in other news, this standard allows for "2. Scruffy-looking facial hair / beard"
as part of the "EU" Han Solo standard (New Jedi Order era).
http://newsite.rebellegion.com/han-solo-njo-era/
basically, it's ANH from the waist down, and ESB from the waist up.
hope this helps. cheers. _________________

Im currently working on a BF2 Smuggler Han and will be submitting a CRL with my costume submission.
I have noticed differences in:
Pants color, belt buckle and greelbie position, shirt placket size, and vest color.
Im hoping to submit before the end of the month. _________________ Chris Anderson - Blue Ridge Base BMO, Assistant Temple Master of Nexus Temple

I'm curious as to whether those can be chalked up to gaming graphic needs, or if it will need to be that much different from the ROTJ costume.
Can you give more information on the color differences, please? |

So I have tried collecting screencaps in various lighting temperatures and environments (Warm lighting, cool lighting, white lighting, inside, outside, etc).
Im at work so cant share anything I have but what I have noticed is that the majority of the time:
The pants appear a chocolate brown as opposed to a standard brown. However if you go to the character screen in the menu, they look like TFA pants with a olive/brown mix. Yet, in Mazs Castle or on Endor, they look chocolate brown.
The vest can look like a vibrant Navy in the character screen, though when seen in natural outside lighting it looks almost black. I have personally settled for a subdued Navy for mine.
The shirt seems to be some kind of cream/ivory linen color across all lighting environments.
Corellian Dry Goods commissioned my pants and shirt, where as Starworks (Rob Estrada) is making my vest, holster and belt.
A note about the pants belt:
It is a two prong buckle, but there are not holes down its entire length. It is also slightly more brown than black, but much closer to black.
Ive gotten these screen shots from my PS4 and from my PC copy of the game (run at the highest settings without any upscaling). So there might be some discrepancies because of graphical settings, but I have a good set of pictures from Mazs Castle that seem to replicate realistic natural lighting. _________________ Chris Anderson - Blue Ridge Base BMO, Assistant Temple Master of Nexus Temple

Interesting, thank you for your insights! I'll be interested to see what the costume judges have to say, but you have given me a lot to go on. Which blaster are you using? |

The buckles are wonky, but they are also that way on the other Han outfits in the game, which makes me wonder if the placement for this version would need to be like that, or if the ROTJ belt would work. |

I am, fortunately, not a costume judge. So that is never a call that I am going to have to make.
But it does strike me as one of the things that would make this costume distinctive and stand out from the other Han Solo costumes. _________________ She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts. |

Man, it is crazy to see this rig pop up. It was a really tricky one. The proportions barely work with real life hardware unless it is designed from the ground up. That rig was latigo if I remember correctly, so it was nice and soft to form around the odd curves. Does make the holster itself a bit softer though. |
