Moving to Georgia the middle of December, transfer back

I started in the Legion in 2010 then moved to Florida to work at Walt Disney World. I am preparing to move back to Georgia (Trenton) to be with my family on December 13th.
We will prepare to buy a house in Hixson Tennessee maybe 2020, then I will transfer to Tennessee base.
Is the base I join associated with the state I live in?
As I plan to troop more with Tennessee base, as my brother is a member of Tennessee/Kentucky Garrison.

I cannot wait to start trooping with my old friends again and look forward to meeting new troopers.
