Would any of these work as boots for a RFT costume?

The first two will work. I have seen those in person. The ASMC shop is 15 minutes away from where I live. The Finnish jackboot should also work.

If the budget suffices, I'd go for the vintage German boots in the first link. Those are accurate boots for lots of costumes in 501st and RL, although the soles have been replaced with less-accurate soles.

I'd be leery of the Finnish ones, only because I've been burned buying vintage surplus boots from Sportsman's Guide before. They arrived, but in such horrible condition that I had to return them. (and they charge a restocking fee for returns, so I wasted some money there) Considering the photo they show is not in great shape, and they generally pick the best example they can find for their product photos, that does not inspire confidence.

Would the soles of the German jackboots still be acceptable?

Acceptable, yes, usually. Accurate, no. *shrug*

Both types of jackboots that ASMC sells are about the same height as the jackboots that kman posted in your other post.
