Also fixed the scope on the blaster - black ends, not gold!

Out of curiosity, why did you paint the ends of the scope black? I'd have left them brass (maybe weathered them with a little black paint, but not covered them). The hero DL-44 had brass rings as seen here |

About 4 posts ago, someone specifically mentioned to not have the bronze ends.
Also, in the movie I can only really see the black ring.
Also videos showing ANH blaster (such as the masters replica blaster etc.) show black rings.

Also I don't know if this really matters, since there are so many varying thoughts on this. _________________ CHEERIO!

Well, it's your blaster, do it how you like!
That being said, my opinion is this: that screenshot you posted isn't the Hero, it's the Greedo Killer. Also, those videos are the MR versions, who didn't do a 100% accurate job...every photo or still I've seen of Harrison from Star Wars/A New Hope has the brass ring (albeit heavily weathered). |

The hero blaster used a specific real world scope, which did have brass rings on the ends holding the lens in place. The brass was painted black, as is the norm, but weathered and worn, so some brass was exposed.
For approval, it doesn't matter either way. _________________

Great - so it will be as is for approvals
Also, my pants came back from the tailor - now including a PINTUCK and EMBROIDERED BLOOD STRIPES (which look amazing).
The shirt and vest are also now fixed, so I'm ready to get photos for approvals! _________________ CHEERIO!

Things seem to be busy in approvals right now! I got feedback, though there are more changes required than I can poke a stick at
For this costume, and others, there are so many trips to the tailors... So instead I think I'll just purchase a sewing machine so I can do the changes at home (which will work out MUCH cheaper over time). This will also mean I can do quick fixes if things rip or tear eventually...
Any tips on what to look for in sewing machines? _________________ CHEERIO!

Here are some of the main changes:
- Invert pintuck on pants (so it sticks outwards)
- Shorten sleeves a bit more (my personal choice)
- Make pants tighter, especially around the boots
- Raise the holster parts of the gun-belt up a bit, so it doesn't overlap boots
- Make the back buckle on the gun-belt slightly shorter horizontally (I took 20mm off)
- Have my hair parted correctly as per Han (closer to the middle)
Here are some of the pictures to prove the above!
