Hello there, just a short and simple question:
would Han Solo in his mudtrooper/Mimban gear be allowed as a RL costume?

At that point he is kind of a fine line between Imperial army soldier and defector but i doubt he would be acceptable for the 501st. could he have a spot within the RL?

At this point, no, because that's a "disguise" costume. Basically, you're a regular mud trooper (501st costume) until you take your helmet off. Then, you're a mud trooper with your helmet off... how would they know you're supposed to be Han Solo, unless you happen to look just like the actor? Same for Han Solo in Stormtrooper armor. You're just some Stormtrooper taking his helmet off ("who gave you permission to remove that helmet?" LOL), unless you happen to strongly resemble a young Harrison Ford.

There has been talk (for years) of establishing some sort of "Disguise Detachment" for these sort of cross-over costumes, but to my knowledge, that has not happened yet.

In understand that on the surface Han Solo's Mudtrooper armor look like any other Mudtrooper. However, there are actual a hand full of slight alterations that are unique to Alden Ehrenreich Armor compared to all the other ''regular'' Mudtrooper. Some colour differences, some removal/addition of certain gear, etc.

do these alterations make it a different costume or is it still to blurry to stand on its own?

Hi Siebe,

We now have a Disguise/Defectors detachment. This thread - http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1081839 - lists the costumes currently accepted in that detachment.

Right now Mud Trooper Han is not listed. However, the DCO for the Disguise Detachment notes this later down the thread:

Quote:
If you are interested in a disguise costume not on the list above, you need to message Blair about it as that is an LMO team decision.

I would recommend messaging Blair and including information about the differences so that she and the LMO team can make a decision about whether to include the costume in the detachment.

Is he really disguised? He's an Imperial Mudtrooper, as he was an Imperial TIE pilot.

I have asked. apparently the differences are so subtle that the LMO team doesn't consider this costume unique enough compared to a regular Mudtrooper, which means that the Han Solo Mud Trooper variant just entered the realm where it can be neither a 501st nor a Rebel Legion costume which is a shame Crying or Very sad but there is nothing that can be done im afraid

I wonder if the new Disguise Costume RL detachment would take it, in that case?
