Congrats,
As I told you before, this will be very useful for my girlfriend. Having an human version will let her avoid the twilek paint and lekku fixation on small events were the available time to get prepared is shorter.

Thanks, Ezogul. I love your Rodian DRT and Moraty's Twilek DRT. Good luck with Moraty's human DRT. I cannot wait to see the finished project.

Thanks for your feedback.
Maybe as this female version has not CRL we may try to print another in game weapon different than the standard ones, maybe something big as the T21.

I´m working also on the male human version, only the cap remains, the helmet has been printed, reinforced with fiberglass and sanded.

Will post pics when finished.

A T-21 heavy blaster is pretty cool. There should not be a problem with getting that approved. The reference for that is easy to get since it is one of the 22 blasters that can be used in the single player missions.

I cannot wait to see the finished costumes, helmets and weapons. You did such a great job with the other two.

Did you see the CS proposal that I wrote for the female desert rebel trooper? What do you think about it?

I think your proposal for a female rebel trooper is very good, deep and much more accurate than the actual hybrid version included on the male CRL.

Great and comprehensive work.

They only thing I would add is that the helmet padding could also be dark brown due sometimes is difficult to find good quality black or grey leather, and on the distance, the difference between black and dark brown is barely noticeable.

Thanks for the compliment. I am not sure about adding brown to the approvable leather colors. From my experience you can get black leather without any problems. Getting the correct shade of gray or brown can be difficult.

I wore my female DRT at FARK yesterday. It was the first time I wore this costume at an event. I have to add some extra Velcro to my left cuff and my wrist-com because it kept slipping down. I also have to do something with my rank badge because it fell down a couple of times. I guess the magnets are not strong enough. The visor of the helmet did not survive the event. It was very warm and the was almost no shade. Some of the glued edges came apart. I guess the combination of the black paint and being almost constantly in the sun was too much for the glue. The only thing that kept the visor together were the reinforcements in the inside, which were made with a 3D pen.

Our badges are held by snaps, a pair of them on each badge.

To avoid visor problems, I reinforced the connection with fiberglass and polyester resin.

I just added a extra magnet on the rank badge for now but I will probably switch to Velcro or snaps. I do not know what I will with the helmet yet. I have to do some research first. I guess it is a good thing that the female DRT is not my only costume. That gives me more than enough time to do the repairs before I need the helmet again.
