Is the Simplicity pattern 8722 good one to use for the flight suit?

It's a jumpsuit pattern so I'm gonna say yes.

...To expand on the vague response, the pattern should be fine to start with but you'll need to make changes and additions to it, such as adding pockets, modifying the collar, and other such things. The pattern isn't an exact match for the suit, or for any suit from The Last Jedi, but it is a good starting point.
