All very interesting developments in the study of this belt. On October 28th of this year, Star Wars Costumes: The Original Trilogy comes out. I hope they have all kinds of reference photos of Obi-Wan's Costume and Luke's Costumes. Perhaps the actual source of the pouch of Obi's belt will be revealed, or at least some really clear reference photos will be included in the book. _________________ Follow your Bliss -Joseph Campbell |

My biggest disappointment about the book was the Ben Kenobi section. Very little information and no detail concerning the belt. The rest of the costumes are very detailed including close up pictures of Vader, Luke, and Han belts laid out to see details. Oh well.

This thread has been real helpful in helping me make my belt & pouch, which I finally finished earlier this evening. I will post pics in my w.i.p. thread tomorrow.

Bumping this thread.
Has anyone gotten a better look at Ben's 'sporin' or coin purse/belt pouch?
Have any higher rez screenshots become available since 2015? |

The screen used pouch is not a pouch at all but two pieces of leather glued and riveted together to look like a pouch. _________________ Follow your Bliss -Joseph Campbell |

[quote="Psab Keel"]Here are shots of the screen used Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi belt, including the "banana pouch" which is not a functional piece but simply two pieces of leather glued and riveted together to resemble a pouch. To my knowledge these have never been shown before to the general public.]
Thanks for posting these. Where was the costume on display and who was able to take the measurements and pictures? |

Glad to be able to share these with my fellow Obi-Wan fans. I was able to get in touch with the curator of The Power of Costume exhibit and he was kind enough to provide these pictures with the measurements. _________________ Follow your Bliss -Joseph Campbell |

Thanks for that. As much as I researched the costume and specifically the belt, if I sent him all my questions he probably would have said too much. Lol |

Well I hope these can help everyone looking to replicate this belt. I was able to talk with him for over an hour. Super helpful! _________________ Follow your Bliss -Joseph Campbell |

Just seen these updates now. I must check these sizes against my belt & pouch that I made.
Thanks for your continued efforts Nathan.
