Rebel Legion Italian Base and 501st Italica Garrison would be happy to invite you to Lucca Comics and Games, the biggest comics event that will be held in Italy.

Lucca Comics is a unique event, the entire medieval city of Lucca in fact becomes the theater of the largest fair on movies, cartoons, comics, books and video games in Italy. Every year hundreds of thousands of people participate. The Italian Legions always keep a garrison on the walls (ticket-free zone), this year the booth will be Endor themed. The event takes place outside, we haven’t building where cover ourselves other then gazebo’s in our area. Booking accommodation in Lucca is always complex even months in advance, we recommend to check maybe in the nearby cities of Pescia, Montecatini, Pisa. From these location Lucca is easily accessible by train or car. You can reach Lucca by train (from Florence, Pisa, Milano, Rome, etc. With some change during the trip).

The nearest airport is Pisa’s airport (Galileo Galilei) with connections then to the train station of Pisa. If you want to visit the exhibition around the city you need to buy the tickets online. Wehave a private dressing place behind the booth on the wall of the city. We strongly suggest (to our members too) to take only official costumes of the legions, the changing area is decent but is for a lot of people and we have to storage the luggage too.
