Working slowly.. but getting there..
- Need to finish helmet..
- need to add velcro for gaiters. I'm not really fond of the felt type material. Might sacrifice some old khaki's.

Might look into making some canvas type material gaiters like these from another build.

The suit is looking good.
The gaiters look really short, though, they should be almost twice as tall. The ones in your second post picture are a much better length. _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley

I am not sure if they gaiters are too short. Its looks more like they are not stiff enough and folded into themselves. That makes them look shorter than they probably are. If that is the case I would suggest adding some iron-on interfacing to those to make them stiff or to sew new ones out of a thicker/stiffer fabric. _________________ RIAD GRRRL-Squad-Leader 2019-present

There should be a little wrinkle to them, a bit of a crease, so you don't want them too stiff, but yeah, they should hit a little bit below the knee, and go down a bit past the ankle.
Tacking them at the top to the suit might help as well. That's how my gaiters are attached... I just tacked the tops of them onto the legs of my flight suit. _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley
