Having successfully completed my application to the Rebel Legion as a Jedi, I recently shifted focus back to getting my Tantive IV Bail Organa application ready. In doing some of my research, I started seeing similarities between the R1 Bail and some Items already in my kit boxes for other approved costumes.

That said, I may be closer to getting R1 application ready than the Tantive IV.(and I wouldn’t have to color my hair for this one 😜)

Boots & Pants from my Jedi

Belt Buckle - WIP

I have an Imperial belt & Code Cylinders from my Gunner costume that will work, leaving the Tunic & Cape to work on.

Looking forward to getting one of my Bail options done before DragonCon in a few months!

That's looking great so far! I can't wait to see more of your progress.

A research trip to the largest fabric warehouse I know of......

I grabbed a few sample swatches. Is the Olive too bright, or is the lighting in our reference photos?

It looks like it's probably okay. All of the shots of the costume in the movie were in a really dark bunker.

Yeah. In the movie the light is fairly low level. I imagine this fabric would probably look more like the movie does in a lower light setting. (Otherwise you can always give it a dye bath Wink ).

If you got samples you can try taking a few pictures in different lighting conditions and compare them to the references.
The olive in the movie does look to be on the browner end of olive rather than the greener end, but it's hard to say for sure.

A little more work on the buckle.

Glued the logo to the 3mm Sintra to add a little depth then buffed & brushed the buckle. Used E-6000 to attach the logo to the buckle and added a coat of Aluminum metallic colored paint. Considering a cost of glossy clear coat.
