Cool. I like it. Looks good. This is a great trick.
Going to try and get the second piece a little lighter and compare. This one maybe darker than I like. Looks a little too tan. _________________

Alright, the one on the right I watched for 5 minute increments for a while. Looks good. Less tan. _________________

Originally these goggles came with the Green/Yellow lens that the "Trench Troopers" have. Inside personnel use amber. I had to cut a new lens out of a large Trading card top loader and add an auto light tint film. I could not think of anything better for the plastic lens that was rigid enough yet pliable enough. After a couple tries I found the perfect amber film color. Not to dark or fluorescent. Cutting and installing was a chore. I have enough film left for another try. Took me a few tries to get it without too many bubbles or cracks around the edges. This one has some spots from bubbles and I will cut a new one later. I ran out of plastic. Good enough for now though. _________________

Another solution. I had to find a piece to cover up the open end and hold the prongs. I needed a corner piece of plastic. I found these old cassette cases I was using to hold dremel parts. I will have to find something else for storage. This is perfect because I will need to cut them out with a knife and it is nice and soft yet sturdy. Now to make another one. _________________

Perfect. Now to sand the edges to size, paint, and reinforce or build up the bottom side of the loop parts around the prong pieces. Then install them. _________________

Iron on with custom cut patch blank. The iron on process was a little rough but I salvaged it and sealed it with Mod Podge. Looks OK . Looks like It should be more of a regular fabric type patch with sewn edges but this is all I could come up with. _________________

Comparing Far Away Creations and Wampa Ware suits for color. Wampa is a match. The Far Away suit is to dark to go with the vest.
Looks grey but it's really a tan color _________________
