Support Staff Expectations

- When representing Amancane Base and/or the Rebel Legion, act courteously and please be professional.
- When given a duty to perform, if you need to be relieved, have another Support Staff take your place. These duties may include such things as posting fliers, running errands, assisting members with suit up or suit down, taking photos for the event or assisting a trooper with poor visibility while they interact with the public (making sure they don't step on small children or that someone doesn't steal their accessories of their belt).
- Prior to trooping in them, all new costumes MUST be approved by a Legion Costume Judge (LCJ), with the exception of conventions. You are allowed to "test drive" your costume at conventions as long as you are not representing Amancane Base while in costume.
- If someone approaches you concerning setting up an event, direct them to a member of Base Command or the website to submit an event request. http://newsite.rebellegion.com/event-booking-form/.
- Support Staff participating in an official event are asked to be there for the entirety of the event unless otherwise indicated.
- If approached by the media/press, direct them to the Base Public Relations Officer (BPR), or the nearest Base Command member. Please refrain from giving any comments or any interview to the media as it is necessary to ensure that the Rebel Legion is represented appropriately.
- If taking photos for the event, please be fully aware of what photos you are taking. Please refrain from taking photos and/or posting photos that may be potentially embarrassing to an individual. This would include members partially in costume (which ruins the illusion to the public) Photos in the changing areas are strictly forbidden.

Full Conduct Guide List

- Support Staff are expected to remain courteous and professional at all times while with costumed costumed characters, representing Amancane Base, or the Rebel Legion in an official capacity.
- Support Staff should refrain from profanity, especially around children.
- Smokers should do so out of the public, preferably in a hidden or discrete location.
- Support Staff should not initiate physical contact with the public, especially chldren. IE: Don't reach out and grab someone or extend you hand to them for handshake or high five, let them initiate the contact themselves. We do not want the public and again especially children, being afraid of us. If a child is apprehensive attempt to assure the child we mean them no harm and then back away...let them decide when they want to approach.
- Do not use any type of lewd or suggestive gestures while in public.
- No alcoholic beverages while "on duty."
- Please wear appropriate attire. If available a Support Staff shirt will be provided to wear during the event.
- Above all else use common sense and if you have a question ask a member of Base Command immediately but discretely if in the public spotlight.

Complaints and Disciplinary Procedure

- If you have a concern or complaint about another member (including a member of staff), you should bring it to the attention of the Amancane Base Command Officier (BCO). If the BCO is unavailable or unable to satisfy your complaint/concern, or is the subject of the complaint/concern, direct the issue to the Amancane Base Executive Officer (BXO). If the complaint/concern can not be handled and appropriately solved at the Base level then your next step is to contact the Legion Captain of the Guard (LCOG). If then after it has been escalated to the aforementioned offices, the Legion Commanding Officer (LCO) should be approached. All complaints will be dealt with confidentially and according to Rebel Legion rules as outlined in the Charter and are applicable.
- The level of disciplinary action taken will be determined by a case by case basis. This may range from a short suspension from the forum, to exclusion from Amancane Base, and Rebel Legion if applicable, events and any detachments associated with the aforementioned.
