We've recently had a request for a standards discussion for a Disney Star Tours Tech. Consider this something along the lines of a Willrow Hood Costume. If you have any decent screen caps. We would be glad to see them.

Star Tours Technician (text only)

-Red Jumpsuit with two basic chest pockets, no zippers, no arm pockets. Top snap unbuttoned to show white tee underneath.

-Simple Startours logo patch on upper back. Blue thread on white backing. Approx 9 inches wide.

-Plain White Cotton T-shirt, regular neck.

-Basic black one ear headset with cord, wind guard on mic tip. Worn on right ear, cord goes down into right pocket.

-Black 2 inch webbing “side release” belt or Black “Riggers Belt”

-Black Jack boots or Engineer boots

Optional

In universe looking Raido/scanner/pda, fits in holster, appears to be a pda/barcode scanner of some kind.

2 Small rectangular cloth or nylon belt pouches, one on each side of buckle.

Black universal radio pouch

Are these acceptable Rebel Legion costumes? I remember a couple years back there was a discussion about the Star Tours crew costumes (the traditional blue and orange "castmember" costumes) but it was said that they wouldn't be allowed because Disney wouldn't like people dressing up in costumes similar to castmembers, or something like that.

Though I've been going to make a costume, anyway, just for fun, because I'm a huge Star Tours nerd. Razz

It is not an official costume. Someone suggested this as a CRL but nothing ever came of it.

Ah, yeah, I meant if the Rebel Legion accepted Star Tours costumes at all. I know that the stance used to be no but I wasn't sure if anything had changed or not. I think it'd be fun to see some Star Tours costumes.
