I finally started on my dream dress and I donít know how much of the build Iíll post about other than to get help and such Iíll still share my build when itís finished! I just wanted to start the topic because Iím working on my tabard and wanted to get a second opinion. Here are some pictures of it

The pattern that I made looks good and so when I made it out of fabric I wasnít sure if I lost anything? I think it looks ok once I see up the top but like I said I wanted to double check. I have fabric left so Iím ok with remaking it Smile

That looks like a fairly good shape, but it is hard to say without it held up against you for size/shape comparison.

Here is is on the dress in a test fit. https://i.imgur.com/HA3S8bE.jpg

It reaches about my knees if not just a above them, on some Padmes Iíve noticed they reach longer but it seems knee length or so is similar to the one she wears in the movie

I'd say you need a more distinct top, with a top curve, then sharp angles and straight lines diagonal inwards and down, before you go in straight lines downward and out until you reach the knees and the point of the tabard. I'd also suggest you make the point pointer.

You can look through our gallery if you need any pointers. Smile

Yeah since posting this I went back and fixed up the tabard and made all he lines more pronounced and pointed and re cut the top so it had a curved top and more a tie look.

Just waiting on samples for the petal fabric so this build is on a tiny hold until then and when I can print stencils for the pattern on the tabard
