First you clean your boots and take off all that is "fatty" or dirty.
This can be done with moist cloth and little bit dishwashing liquid.
Take also off all the dishwashing liquid with a "clean" moist cloth.
(This is for everything you paint. the paint wont adhere on fatty material)
Than you paint the boots.
Than you use the grease.
And after trooping you take a moist cloth, clean your boots with it.
After the boots are dry you use grease.
yours

For the first step i would remove only the parts that are not o.k.
Because .. normal i remove acrylic paint with aceton.
But as it is a plastic boot the aceton could demolish the material of the boot.
Try to remove only the broken parts.

I got Acrylic paints for the boots. Is there anything else to use besides sponges to add the paint on the boots? |
