I am getting ready to rivet the boxes to the bandloier but before I do I was wondering.....do you weather the boxes in any way prior to fastening them? They are almost too clean I am thinking or do they just kind of dirty over time from wear? |

Can people share some pics (or provide a link) to some pics of how you padded the inside for fitting? |

Nothing special about it. This was about two years ago before I'd even worn it. I just bought one of the large foam pads from JoAnne's and cut it up and added where I felt it was needed. It's not in the photo but I had a large square pad that I kept loose and inserted up in the top. This is an EvilChimp mask.Disregard the clamps as they were there to help secure the helmet connectors.

Still here. Know it has been a while since my last update but that time has been spent latch hooking. I am hoping to have everything done by Halloween. Gonna be close! |

So literally right out of the package? No treatment at all to the hair? |

So not going to make Halloween but not that far off. Will try to take some pics this weekend. Top is almost completely done. Left leg is almost done to the gray and right leg to the knee. Real life got int the way but should get some time to work on it. |

All I did was take straight out of the package and blend with the hackle I made. It lays very nicely. Almost too nicely as I always thought Chewie had some matted hair.lol |

Big update!!!!
Although not done to the point I want to submit photos, I was able to wear the full outfit for 2 hours today at a community event. As such i need some feedback on a couple items I came across.
1) the bandolier wanted to keep sliding off my shoulder when I would do certain movements. How can I keep it up high on my shoulder.
2) Mask hair movement. I had some hair blow outs and want to keep the hair in place a bit better. Just use more bobby pins? Hair spray? More fudge cement?
3) Shedding!!! Omg I am shedding everywhere. Is there a point that the hair stops falling out? All my hair is latch hooked. Any tops to keep it from loosening and coming out completely? |
