Here is the list of things needed when you submit your application and photos for approval. Please follow and list EVERYTHING required. It makes the process much faster for you.
Photo requirements for your costume:
Please take CLEAR, CORRECTLY EXPOSED photos for submission. They do not need to be professional. A good tip is to take the photos outside in the open shade. Direct sunlight tends to wash out the details and be reflective on the shiny parts. Not good. A solid color, white or light background is recommended. (white sheets work well).
1. Full length photos- front, back, both sides
2. Close up photos- mask, hands, feet, bandolier and bag, boxes
Written description needed.
Please include a description of the build. Whats the undersuit made from? Was it latch hooked or other? Mask underskull, moveable or not? Mask materials? Feet and hand materials and construction. Stilts or lifts?
What is the height in costume from top of head to toes. Complete description is required and will help with approval.
The goal is to elevate the standards of a great costume to look the very best. Proportions and correct features are important to make sure we are representing the character to it very best.
Keep in mind we understand the long difficult process of this build. Completing the build does not always mean you will be approved right away. The overall look of the costume while being worn is also taken into consideration. Proper grooming and thinning of the hair and mask is important. Arm length and visual proportions of the body, feet etc.. will also be considered. _________________ Marty Miller

Thanks for the detailed descriptions!
I'm about a week into serious work on Chewie for my husband, who does not have a RL account himself. I'm taking tons of WIP photos and have a thread here.
Does Chewie have to have a movable mouth and sounds? _________________

Nope Moving mouth is not required, nor is sound. Static mouths must be completely closed as per the standards though. Good luck and feel free to ask any questions you may have! _________________ "Let the Wookiee Win!"
