Less than 5 weeks to go folks.

With so many troopers coming from all over Australia and from around the world, we all need to make sure we have ticked all the boxes leading up to this event.

Even before number 1 you need to go and read the FAQ's again!!!!!

1. Sign Up!!! Here is the thread. Do it now!
This covers you for PLI. For interstate and international this let's Kev Vader know you are coming so you get your personalised security badge.

2. Go and purchase your mixer ticket. If you do not purchase a ticket, you will not be able to attend. Don't miss out.
We need to get the numbers for this paid for asap. There is a minimum of 200 needed. You get a cool mixer patch and wristband for the Last Mixer!

3. Make sure you armour and costumes are ready to go. Shine that TK. Dirty that TD. Make sure your webbing is all good. IRON YOUR UNIFORMS!!!!! IRON YOU JEDI ROBES!!!!!! Make sure you have everything you need for your costume.

4. If you have a costume that needs to be approved get it done now.
Get them finished folks. Time is running out.

5. Buy some water and snacks for yourself and/or the garrison.

6. Sign up your GA kids. Badges need to be made and we are running out of time.
Again Kev needs to know the names for the badges.

7. Pack your merch for the trade session. It is going to be huge.
I would have some for the Saturday night mixer as well.

8. Go back and start from the top of the list again.
We are almost there folks. Prepare for awesome!!!!

Attention all jedi,

As we draw closer to the Dreamworld weekend I just thought I would remind you all of the Jedi academy and the Sith vs Jedi lightsaber duel.

The Jedi Academy is a really fantastic chance to interact with the kids that come to see us for the weekend and show them what it is like to be at the Jedi academy and learn some lightsaber skills.

It is a whole heap of fun and it is amazing that we can actually herd 100+ kids into some sort of order to show them some skills. I hope that many of you will be there for the Jedi Academy and help make it awesome. The more jedi that turn up the more amazing it will look.

The Sith vs Jedi fight sequence is also the jewel in the Dreamworld weekend crown. The SvJ team train for about 4 to 5 months beforehand to make this look as professional and realistic as possible. The team gets hurt and injured, as well as give up their time on the weekends to make this happen.

This year we will be asking for the assistance from the Jedi that are helping with the JA. The Sith will be randomly skewering the Jedi as the show progresses. One by one the jedi will fall until there is only one left to face the Sith off. If you would like to be a part of this and have a Sith dispatch you, then we are asking that you stay inside the ring of guests and wait for the Sith to come to you and end you in a nice neat fashion. For the most part you will be stabbed from behind so all you need to do is act like you have been skewered and fall to the ground around the outside of the circle.

If you do not want to get Order 66’d then stand just inside the crowd away from the Sith. If you are in the circle they are going to get you.

This should be a lot of fun and pretty crazy to do, but that is what we do best. I hope you all want to take part in this little bit of crazy.

Best Regards
