Hello. We are working on Luke's cloak and used the Dharma Trading fabric and dye combo that were soooo helpfully posted on these boards.

I have some shots of the cloak (it is all made but pictured here in a clump) and we are debating on the color.

In natural light:



Indoors with flash:



Indoors without flash:




Would the color shown here be acceptable and meet standards? If not, does anyone more experienced with dying have any suggestions for what to try next?

That looks great!
I've seen so many cloaks passed with all varying temperatures of the color.
The on screen cloak looks different tones in some many shots.

I'm not a judge, but it looks pretty close.
If I had to suggest anything, maybe just a little bit of Grey mixed in.

I used a mixture of cocoa, camel and pearl grey on the cloak in my avatar.

Yeah, nice color. Smile My suggestion would also be a touch of grey added in.

Thanks for the feedback. “Luke” has been experimenting with different dye combos and I think he has something closer now. He’s adding some lemon yellow and more gray.
