tyvm :-)

i just want to mention, that i did the shirt not 100% matching the costume references but i think it's like in the movie.

The screencaps are not good, so it's difficult to see. But you can see it.

But here are 2 better examples of what i mean:

you can see the sewing line in the sideshow figure:

Here you can see very good how the shirt looks when worn (ofc it's no rft but the same style of shirt):

here the original rft shirt:

We really want that bottom seam to be below the belt line or just continue the bib to the bottom of the shirt.

Why can he not leave his bib the way it is? The bib seam line was over the belt in ANH. You can see that on a couple of RFTs, on Captain Antilles and on some com-officer in the rebel HQ.

The seam line under the waist/belt is only necessary if you add the bib to a dress shirt because you have to hide the closure. If you make a RFT shirt from scatch that is not necessary.

The non-RFT references can't really count because they're not RFT's.

There are also these references:

I am OK with your opinion that brown shirt cannot be a reference for the RFT shirt even though it is the same type of shirt just with a different color that is worn in the same way the RFT do.

We have references photos of RFT ANH with and without the seam visible. So both versions should be an approvable option. I think visibility of the seam has to do with different upper body length of the actors.

That and how high the pants are worn on the hips.

We have pictures of the original shirt. For others that whould be like a win in the lottery.
Because now you know excatly how it looked.

And due to the fact, that we see Antilles in a closeup view, we know, how the shirt looked like when wearn. The shirt of Antilles has 1:1 the same pattern like the RFT. There is nothing to discuss about that.

And the fact, that we see no sewing line of rft sometimes, is not, that it is not there. It's just of the low solution of the movie and not that it is not there. Just think about how less we see of the jacket...

Remember that: if someone buys the original shirt for several thousend dollars and want to join the rebellegion with that.

He whould not get approved with the screen used shirt.

And funny that who have choosen this rft to proof, that there is no sewing line.
Because in an other frame it is clearly visible.

One more proof, that it is not visible is some frames because of lighting and low solution.

Your vest is really great. This has been an interesting thread to follow (from a distance).
